Cass Road Baptist Church Vision

 

 

CRBC will glorify God and Christ in powerful worship through the Holy Spirit by inspiring music, prayer, and a Biblical message.  Being led by the Spirit, we will be a vital part of the community by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of lost souls.  In response to the call of God, people of all ages will be encouraged to develop and use their gifts to become active disciples for Christ so that others may experience God's love.

  1. Family ministries:  (Hiring two employees and operating expense)  $60,000
    1. After school child care (we are located between a middle school and an elementary school and the high school is two miles away).

                                                               i.      Homework help

                                                             ii.      Tutoring for the Ohio Graduation Test

                                                            iii.      Open gym for recreation

                                                           iv.      Computer training for youth and adults

    1. Food bank or distribution center.

                                                               i.      Angel Food Program (We have already started process)

                                                             ii.      Collection point for food and clothing

    1. Youth Athletic League

                                                               i.      Upland Bound Basketball

                                                             ii.      Peewee Soccer

 

  1. 2 Passenger vans:  (purchase, insurance, maintenance and fuel)  $80,000
    1. Youth events and transportation for youth whose parents don’t attend the church.
    2. Transportation for senior’s events and seniors who do not drive.
    3. Educational conferences and regional events.

 

  1. Youth Program (Growing, now in the 30s plus hiring Jenny full-time and expanding her position)  $60,000
    1. Items for youth room (ping pong table, foosball, etc.)
    2. Outdoor Upgrades (playground for children, soccer goals, sand volleyball court).
    3. Up to date curriculum addressing current issues for today’s youth.
    4. Youth Budget to allow all youth to participate in events that lead to spiritual growth and putting on Jesus Christ (National American Baptist Youth Gathering in Estes Park, Colorado in 2008).

 

  1. Community facility (our current gymnasium plus hired staff)  $40,000
    1. A place for seniors to walk in the winter months.
    2. Exercise class (we are currently begin this, a leader has stepped forward).
    3. Latch Key program for kids.
